How we lay a resin bound driveway

One part resin bound paving

1. First we clean your concrete or tarmac drive with a pressure washer or scabbler

2. We repairs minor cracks and remove any loose material

3. In a forced-action mixer, we bind together the aggregate with a UV-stable high-grade resin liquid. This is poured onto the area to be surfaced

4. We then hand-trowel the stone aggregate onto your drive or path to give a smooth finish. We lay the surface to a depth of 15 mm

6. To finish we scatter an anti slip glass sand onto the wet resin surface to provide a firm grip for shoes and tyres

Will my damp proof course be affected?

As the overlaid surface is only 15mm thick it will not affect your dpc and we can grind out and adjust the levels of your existing drive to sit below the dpc level. We can also chamfer an area to go under a garage door or gate
