Commercial resin bound paving
We work with architects, developers, contractors and landscape firms to deliver resin bound surfaces that meet specification, perform reliably and look right for the space. With over 15 years of experience and more than 200,000m² of resin bound laid, we have the technical knowledge and installation capability to handle commercial projects from the pricing stage through to completion – fitting around the programme and the requirements of the wider project team.
Meeting commercial requirements
Commercial projects involve a different set of requirements to residential work. Multiple stakeholders, defined programmes, compliance criteria and specification standards that have to be met before a contractor can even be considered for the work. We understand this, and we have invested in having everything in place.
We hold Gold accreditation with Constructionline – the standard that most major commercial clients require. We carry full public liability and employer’s liability insurance, complete RAMs documentation for every project and maintain current SSIP and Acclaim accreditations. These are not afterthoughts – they are the reason we are considered for commercial work that smaller firms cannot tender for.
We have delivered installations for clients including Goodwood Estate and the US Embassy. The same standards apply to every project, regardless of scale.
Specification, performance and guarantee
We offer a full range of specifications to suit different loading requirements – from standard pedestrian areas through to heavy-duty commercial specification for car parks, fire access routes and high-footfall environments. We guide clients to the right specification for the application and provide the full supporting documentation.
Our surfaces are guaranteed against stone migration, UV degradation, poor workmanship, minor cracking and colour change. For a commercial specifier or contractor, that guarantee means something – because everything from manufacture to installation is handled by us, with one point of responsibility throughout.
Working with architects, specifiers and landscape designers
If you are specifying resin bound paving for a project, we can support you from the design stage. Send us your drawings and tender specifications and our technical team will advise on the right specification, provide a detailed quotation and produce SketchUp or CAD plans where required.
We have the in-house expertise to conduct full site surveys and work alongside architects and landscape designers throughout the project – from initial specification through to installation sign-off. We provide specifications for all design loadings: pedestrian, domestic vehicle, car park and access road.
Bespoke designs and custom surfaces
Resin bound paving is not limited to standard colours and patterns. We work with architects and designers on bespoke installations – logos, wayfinding graphics, custom colour combinations and feature surfaces. From artwork or a brand identity, we can create stencils and a colour-matched palette for approval before work begins. If you have a design in mind, send it to us. We will tell you honestly what is achievable and at what cost.
Is resin bound paving suitable for high-traffic commercial areas?
Yes. We offer a range of specifications designed for different loading and usage requirements – from standard pedestrian areas through to surfaces suitable for car parks, fire access routes and high-footfall commercial environments. We advise on the right specification for each application during the quoting stage and provide supporting documentation as required.
Does resin bound paving meet SuDS and drainage requirements for commercial planning?
Yes. Resin bound paving is fully permeable, which means it satisfies sustainable drainage system (SuDS) requirements for commercial planning applications. For BREEAM-rated developments, our surfaces can contribute to credits under the sustainable drainage category. We can provide technical documentation to support planning submissions and BREEAM assessments on request.
What accreditations and documentation do you hold for commercial work?
We hold Gold accreditation with Constructionline, current SSIP and Acclaim accreditations, and full public liability and employer’s liability insurance. We complete RAMs documentation for every commercial project and maintain up-to-date health and safety records across our team. Most major commercial clients operate a supplier vetting process – we are set up to pass it.
Can you work alongside architects and specifiers from the design stage?
Yes. We work with architects, landscape designers and specifiers from initial specification through to installation. Send us your drawings and tender specifications and our technical team will provide a detailed quotation, specification advice and CAD or SketchUp plans where required. We conduct full site surveys and provide specifications for all design loadings.
Can you price resin-only, or do you also cover groundworks and tarmac?
Both. We can price the resin installation only, where groundworks and tarmac are being handled by others, or provide a full-service package that includes tarmac and groundworks through our established partner network. We confirm the scope during the initial enquiry and price accordingly. One point of contact throughout, regardless of scope.
